Are you encountering difficulties in managing classroom situations with some of your immigrant/refugee students? This presentation, given by an experienced ESL instructor, will share relevant research explaining some of the internal struggles your students may be experiencing that could be causing disruptive behaviors. The instructor developed and implemented a curriculum designed to address some of these issues, and she will share case examples that demonstrate successful strategies that can be used in your own classroom.
