I was born and
raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Graduating from High School in 1987 I decided it

State University. There I remained until I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Mathematics and a minor in Engineering. As if this wasn't enough

graduating with a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Education
from SDSU. Finally, in May 2010 I completed
a lifelong dream of obtaining a doctorate degree by graduating from SDSU
with a doctorate in
Leadership with an emphasis on Community Colleges.
