Home to Lower Otay County Park

My wife, Jenny, and I set out down EastLake Parkway, around the fake lake to H Street, and turn east to Duncan Ranch Road. Then it's back south past EastLake Middle School to the big payoff, a beautiful bike path behind the McMansions overlooking Upper Otay Lake. Turning onto Otay Lakes Road at the fire station, we pick up the bike path overlooking the big lake, ride through Mountain Hawk Park, and then ride out Weste Road to the park at the dam.

 

 

Homeward from the park

Time for rest, a granola bar, and some welcome hydration. We head home via Olympic Parkway, up two hills that get the ol' heart beating. We turn at Pick-up Stix back onto EastLake Parkway and return home past the high school.
