Bio

I worked as an adjunct instructor and administrator at colleges in Colorado before finding my passion in my current position as the Instructional Design Technology Specialist for Cuyamaca College.

Prior to my career in education, my working journey started as a computer programmer for satellite tracking in NORAD while serving in the Air Force, then as a programmer/consultant for small business accounting systems and banking.

My last name, Bauerlein, has a lot of vowels in it, which makes it hard to spell and pronounce. So here are a few tricks to help. Bauerlein rhymes with powerline. In German, it roughly translates as "little farmer" because bauer (pronounced bower) means farmer, and lein (pronounced line) means small or little. In fact, I come from a long line of farmers that came to the US in the 1800's to settle on Ohio farmland.
