I am a graphic design instructor for Cuyamaca College, and if you are in one of my classes, welcome! I am sincerely dedicated to the success of my students, and hope you will make the most of the classroom and lab experience. My goal is for you to learn a skill that can be marketable in the work place as well as applied to other Graphic Design and CIS courses.

I am a graduate of San Diego State University and I am a rabid SDSU football fan. Go Aztecs!

I have owned and managed a graphic design and marketing company since 1996. I enjoy owning my own business, but I really enjoy teaching people who want to learn; it's the best of both worlds. For those of you who are interested in becoming a freelance designer or starting your own business I can give you lots of advice (particularly in what not to do).

Depending on the semester, I teach two courses from the following:

GD 105 - Introduction to Digital Media
GD 126 - Digital Imaging (Photoshop)
GD 129 - Page Layout (InDesign)
GD 130 - ProfessionalBusiness Practices
GD 217 - Web Graphics
GD 222 - Web Animation

All the instructors in the Cuyamaca Graphic Design department are very willing to help you with your future educational plans. Whether it is recommending schools and universities or helping you get there, we feel it is part of our responsibility to you. Students from Cuyamaca have gone on to degree programs in many great schools and universities and we are proud of their achievements.

I am always available for your questions about class assignments or issues. I want your classroom experience to be a great one, if it is not turning out that way - contact me.

Have a great semester!
