  1. Parking Permits

  2. Parking permits are included in the cost of the College for Kids workshops and will be available at the before/aftercare locations. NOTE: Parking permits are required Monday through Saturday at Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges. Parking permits are only valid in student parking lots. (see map)
  3. Change/Schedule

  4. No changes will be made after classes begin unless they are unavoidable.
  5. Cancellation Policy

  6. We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel. If you cancel at least three working days before class start date, you will be issued a full refund. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment we will not process your payment and you will be notified of class being cancelled. You will be given an opportunity to enroll your child in another section.
  7. Return Check Policy

  8. Each check dishonored by your bank is subject to a $10 processing fee.
  9. Safety

  10. The safety of children is a primary concern of the College for kids program. All instructors and staff have been First Aid and CPR certified and fingerprinted. All Students will be escorted to and picked up promptly from the workshop location and brought to the drop-off/pick-up location.
  11. Transportation

  12. Parents must provide daily transportation for their child. Students must not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes prior to first class session. All students must be picked up promptly at the before/aftercare location.
  13. Dropping off and Picking up Children

  14. We take the safety of your children seriously. Parents will be required to sign their child(ren) in and out everyday. Parents will be asked to show picture identification when picking up the child(ren). Only those people on the authorized Pick-up List will be allowed to pick up a child. there will be no exceptions.
    1. Location: Cuyamaca, Room L-101 Drop off & Pick-up (7:50am - 5:30pm)
  15. Lunch

  16. Parents are responsible for providing snacks and water for morning and/or afternoon sessions for their child. For those children attending the entire day, a sack lunch and water is required and is the responsibility of the parent to provide.
  17. Free time and before/aftercare

  18. Students who are unable to participate in the scheduled activities of a workshop may attend free time at the drop-off location. NOTE: The enrollment fee will not be refunded if the child chooses to not participate in the activities of a workshop. (See locations under Drop off and Pick-up, above)
  19. Late pick-up

  20. Our faculty and staff work hard to educate your children during the summer. Please be respectful of their time. All students that are picked up after 5:30pm will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute. If the fee is not paid upon arrival or if a child is not picked up before 5:30pm on more than one occasion during the six weeks, then a child will no longer be allowed to attend the College for Kids program.
  21. Important
    1. We encourage you to include your child in their class selection process.
    2. Early registration is highly recommended, as most classes are limited to 20 children on a first come, first served basis.
    3. Parents are responsible for providing snacks and water for their child. For those attending all day, a sack lunch is required.
    4. Registering is easy! When you are ready to schedule your child’s summer, go to the forms page to download the registration, photo release waiver forms and all other appropriate forms to be filled out.
