WX Lab

GD230 - Graphic Design Work Experience - is a capstone course in the Graphic Design Program. This  class offers students an opportunity to apply the practical skills they have learned during their time in the program. Paid and unpaid internships are offered, as well as deep-dive independent work-based learning projects.






The RisoPress within the WX Lab is a dedicated makerspace providing a high level of technical and aesthetic training in Risograph printing for artists, designers, illustrators, photographers, and creatives of all backgrounds. We offer self-publishing classes, workshops, internships and open lab access for current and former students. The Rise of Riso



The RisoPress will reopen fall semester 2021.  The makerspace will be utilized this fall in GD129-4690, Page Layout & Design. Future offerings are also being planned for continuing education courses. We have several new initiatives that we will be announcing soon.
