Steps to Enroll

  1. Apply
    Apply for Admission to Cuyamaca College. Applications take between 24 to 48 hours to process, before the student will be active. Students will remain active until they miss two consecutive terms. If this occurs, students will have to reapply using the same application account initially created. Apply Today
  2. Apply for Financial Aid
    Explore Financial Aid Options
  3. Request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities be sent directly to Cuyamaca College Admissions and Records Office.

  4. Online Orientation
    The online orientation is a series of videos designed to introduce you to the college of your choosing. Below you will find directions and a How-To video to help you access and complete the orientation for Grossmont or Cuyamaca.

  5. Placement Assessment
    A placement assessment questionnaire is used to place new students into appropriate levels of Math and English or English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

    This online advising can be accessed by logging into Self-Service. This interactive virtual advising session will assist you in creating your initial educational plan.

    Attend the first day of class. Students who are not present on the first day of class may be dropped.
