The Native American Student Alliance (NASA) at Cuyamaca College is a student organization whose purpose is to promote tribal heritage & to educate others through activities & educational opportunities. Our focus is to support the advancement of our students at Cuyamaca College and within the local communities. We aim to enhance the cultural and social environment of Cuyamaca College & encourage its spirit of diversity.
Cuyamaca College NASA & SDSU Geography Department have joined in a collaboration with our native students! "Building Healthier Communities and Pathways to Higher Education with Native American Youth," has been active for this semester. Students received ASUS tablets to help with school work and participate in workshops that focus on scholarships & educational support/goals (financial aid, transfer prep, internships). The most recent workshop involved a trip to SDSU campus for EXPLORE SDSU! Please contact our advisors for more details.
