The Native American Student Alliance (NASA) at Cuyamaca College is a student organization whose purpose is to promote tribal heritage and to educate others through activities and educational opportunities. Our focus is to support the advancement of our students at Cuyamaca College and within the local communities. We aim to enhance the cultural and social environment of Cuyamaca College and encourage its spirit of diversity.

Cuyamaca NASA/SDSU Mentoring Program

Cuyamaca College NASA and SDSU Geography Department have joined in a collaboration with our native students! "Building Healthier Communities and Pathways to Higher Education with Native American Youth," has been active for this semester. Students received ASUS tablets to help with school work and participate in workshops that focus on scholarships and educational support/goals (financial aid, transfer prep, internships). The most recent workshop involved a trip to SDSU campus for EXPLORE SDSU! Please contact our advisors for more details.
