How to become a part of Pathway Academy

 

  • Must apply to Cuyamaca College 
  • Complete the Math and English/ESL assessment
  • Fill out and submit a

     

    Pathway Academy Application 
  • Attend an interview with a Pathway Academy counselor
  • Sign Pathway Academy Contract

Year One of College

  • Developing college success strategies via Counseling 120 (First Semester)
  • Career and major exploration via Counseling 110 (Second Semester)
  • Educational goal selection and knowledge of the transfer process to four-year colleges via Counseling 150 (Second Semester)
  • Personalized FAFSA/Dream Act support 
  • Educational Planning  and  managed enrollment
  • Accelerated course options
  • University visits
  • Resources such as free printing, tutoring, mentoring, book vouchers, and bus passes 

Year Two of College

  • Job readiness training 
  • Assistance with transfer applications to four-year colleges
