Transfer Center Advisory Board (TCAB)
  • What is TCAB?
    An advisory group that supports the Cuyamaca College Transfer Center.
  • Who is involved?
    Faculty, student services professionals, students, university partners, and K–12 educational partners.
  • Main goal:
    To increase equitable transfer opportunities and help more students successfully transfer to four-year universities.
  • What does TCAB do?
    • Reviews and provides feedback on Transfer Center plans and goals.
    • Reviews transfer services, programs, and activities.
    • Looks at transfer data and student outcomes.
    • Identifies barriers that may prevent students from transferring.
    • Recommends strategies to improve student transfer success.
    • Promotes collaboration between campus departments and educational partners.
    • Supports efforts to close transfer equity gaps.
    • Helps strengthen a college-wide transfer culture.
  • What are members expected to do?
    • Attend and actively participate in meetings.
    • Share their knowledge and perspectives.
    • Review transfer services and outcomes.
    • Provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Build partnerships that create more transfer opportunities for students.
