Business
The Business program at Cuyamaca College offers courses designed to prepare you for a career in the various arenas of business. Each of these programs offers you an Associate Degree and/or Certificates of Achievement or Proficiency.
Some of the programs offer you courses which transfer to San Diego State University and other four-year colleges and universities to fulfill part of their course requirements for bachelor’s degrees. You will receive a quality education through the Cuyamaca College Business and Professional studies programs. These classes are a good introduction or a way to expand your skills.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the Business Administration or Business–General program at Cuyamaca College will, among other things, be able to:
- Recognize and appropriately respond to ethical and legal concerns relating to human resource and organizational management.
- Identify and analyze business problems or entrepreneurial opportunities and effectively communicate recommendations for courses of action.
- Apply accounting concepts and methods to interpret financial statements for evaluating the financial position and performance of organizations
