Library Log In Help
New Log In for databases!
Currently enrolled students can access the library's databases from off campus.

Username
Your username is your firstname.lastname@students.gccccd.edu. The firstname.lastname is the same as Self-Service, include any assigned numbers
or special characters. Example: John.Smith123456@students.gcccd.edu
Password
Your password defaults to your 6-digit date of birth. Example: January 2, 1999, is 010299. If you have changed your password in Microsoft
Office, use that new password. This is not the same passwords used for Canvas or Self-Service.
Still having trouble?
- If you have any assigned numbers or other special characters in your username in Self-Service, include those numbers and characters.
- If your username is long, you may need to stop after the 20th character.
- Example: Alexandria Smith-Jones would be alexandria.smith-jo@students.gcccd.edu.
- Example: Alexandria Smith has the Self-Service username of alexandria.smith123456. Their database log in would be alexandria.smith1234@students.gcccd.edu.
- The password defaults to your 6-digit date of birth even if changed your password
in WebAdvisor/Self-Service or Canvas.
- Example: If you were born on January 9, 2003, you would enter 010903
- If you changed your password for Microsoft Office/school email. Use that updated password instead.
- Microsoft Authenticator App? You may be required to install the Microsoft Authenticator App before you are able to finish logging in, Download the app and connect your college Microsoft account to it before you finish logging in. Instructions for Installation
- Are you a student at Grossmont College and not a student at Cuyamaca College? Use the Grossmont Library instead.
- Expired password: Log into your Microsoft Office account that the college has provided. Use your expired password first. It will then ask you to update your password. New passwords should be at least 8 characters, with one number and special character (example: ! or &) Access Office here: https://www.office.com/
- Need to reset your password? You may be able to reset your password if you have and alternative contact method registered with the college (personal email or cell phone). The password reset for your school email address (username) will send a validation code to your person email or phone. If no alternative contact method is available, you will need to contact the Help Desk.
- Blocked by the EZProxy Admin? Email the Help Desk below. Include your full name, student ID number, and the error message.
You can come by the library to talk with a librarian in person, call, or email us. You can also contact the Cuyamaca Help Desk for support. Please have your student ID number at the time of your call or included it in your email.
