Help desk hours during Spring 2021: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-7:30pm, & Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm.  

However, students are encouraged to call and leave a voice message or e-mail anytime.


We will respond on the next, open, business day if a voicemail or e-mail is sent after hours.


Please have your student ID number at the time of your call.


New for Spring 2021! Student Email credentials now give access to Office 365, OneDrive and on campus WIFI in parking lot 5! Accounts will now remain active between semesters with access to these added features. Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive Instructions 

** Student email accounts will remain active unless the student has missed 2 consecutive Spring or Fall semesters excluding Intersession and Summer session.

How we can help

The Help Desk is your best resource for troubleshooting technical difficulties associated with your student accounts.


These problems include but are not limited to:

  • Incorrect username and/or forgotten password
  • Unable to log in to your student e-mail, the campus network or campus Wi-Fi, the library database, or Canvas.
  • Wi-Fi is available at Cuyamaca Wireless for registered students who bring their own devices. If you need technical assistance with accessing the Wi-Fi, using your student account, our on-site technical staff is available to assist you.

Canvas Help

If you need help using Canvas you can call the Canvas Help Desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-844-592-2205.

When to seek outside help

Knowing who to call and when is invaluable and saves precious time. This is especially crucial if you are enrolled in an online course. The following is a list of tasks that are not supported by the help desk:

  • Resetting Web Advisor passwords
    We are no longer able to provide this service due to FERPA laws.
    Contact Admissions and Records at 619-660-4275.
  • Troubleshooting your home computer
    (Consider using the Tech Mall on campus (E-121) as a backup plan when your home system is down)
  • Problems associated with your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • Resetting quizzes/tests in Canvas

  • Installing/downloading course software for your classes or any software
  • Configure your hardware, software, e-mail or browser
  • Problems with the CCCApply website
