Interview Preparation
Interviewing is a critical part of the job search process and provides students with the opportunity to showcase their skills, experiences, and readiness for employment. Preparation and practice can significantly improve confidence and performance during interviews. Career Services offers a variety of resources to help students strengthen their interview skills, including AI-powered practice through Big Interview, live mock interviews with Career Services staff, and private interview room reservations for practice sessions or virtual interviews. Together, these resources help students feel prepared, professional, and ready to make a strong impression on employers.
Big Interview
Big Interview is an online interview preparation platform that helps students build confidence and improve their interviewing skills. It offers step-by-step training lessons, practice interviews with AI-powered feedback, industry- and job-specific interview question sets, resume and job search resources, and tools to help users develop strong interview responses. By providing a safe environment to practice and receive feedback, Big Interview helps students prepare for internships, part-time jobs, full-time employment, graduate school interviews, and other career opportunities. Big Interview also has a resume builder, a resume review tool, and a cover letter builder--all matched to your unique experiences, skill set, and the specific job you're applying to.

Perfect Interview
The Perfect Interview software allows you to practice interviews from your home via your web-cam from your smart device, laptop or computer. Perfect Interview has thousands of practice questions, an interview coach to help you answer such questions, and two sample student responses. Perfect Interview also has a job search and resume builder.
Mock Interviews
Students can schedule an appointment with a Career Services staff member to participate in a live, in-person mock interview. These practice interviews are designed to simulate real interview experiences and help students strengthen their communication skills, refine their responses to common interview questions, and build confidence. Following the interview, students receive personalized feedback and coaching on their answers, professionalism, body language, and overall interview performance to help them prepare for internships, jobs, graduate school, and other career opportunities.
Interview Room Reservations - available by reservation only
Students may reserve a private interview room at the Career Center to practice their interviewing skills or to participate in virtual interviews in a quiet, professional setting free from distractions. Contact the Career Center to make a reservation.
