- University of California (UC) Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Program
Six UC campuses offer the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program for California community college students who meet specific requirements.
General Education
- 7 Course Pattern
The minimum requirements to be considered for admission to the UC system. - IGETC or Cal-GETC
Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC). IGETC and Cal-GETC are sequences of courses, certified by the California community colleges, that you complete in order to satisfy the freshman/sophomore-level general education requirements at UC. - AP Credits
UC grants credit for all College Board Advanced Placement tests on which a student scores 3 or higher.
