Department of Grounds Maintenance – Cuyamaca College

 

Overview:
Our grounds crew maintains the beauty and safety of outdoor areas, including athletic fields, walking paths, landscaping, and irrigation systems.

 

Services Include:

  • Lawn and plant maintenance
  • Tree trimming and safety clearing
  • Athletic field maintenance
  • Irrigation and water management
  • Trash and debris removal
  • Designs, installs, and maintains new and existing landscaping

Cuyamaca College complies with all State of California regulations concerning herbicides and pesticides used on campus.

 

How to Request:
Submit a request through the Facilitron Works Portal. Include your location, description of the issue, and any photos if available.

Introducing Facilitron Works - Our New Work Order Management System

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is pleased to announce our partnership with Facilitron to streamline the work order request process. Facilitron Works™ allows our team to manage reactive work orders, create preventive maintenance work orders and track and manage assets in one stand-alone system.  

Logging In

To log in, click on 'forgot password' and use your District Email to create a new password. Once logged in, you'll have the option to toggle between Facilitron Works and Facilitron S&R using the left-side navigation panel from your dashboard.

 

 

 

Creating a Work Order

  1. From the Facilitron Works dashboard, select "New Work Order"

  2. Select a location from the dropdown menu

  3. Enter description of the work you need done - be as detailed as possible

  4. Select a purpose or leave it as “Routine Maintenance”

  5. Generate a work order number by selecting "Create Work Order"

    (example: FY22-23-00458)

  6. Use the "Show Files" button to upload photos relating to the work order

*If a location is missing, submit the work order using a nearby location and specify in

the "Description" the correct location.

Navigating the Menu

  • New: Create a new work order

     

  • Active: Search any active work orders at your site

     

  • Search: Search any work orders at your site, past or present
