Hi, I’m Dr. Cindy Morrin — a clinical psychologist, educator, and lifelong learner passionate about helping students find their path and thrive in college and beyond.
With over 25 years of experience in education, I’ve served as a counselor, professor, and mentor in community colleges, high schools, and graduate programs. I bring real-world mental health and counseling tools into the classroom to support not just academic success, but personal growth and emotional well-being.
At Cuyamaca College, I’ve taught courses in college success, personal development, and career planning. I’ve also helped launch programs that support first-generation college students, incarcerated youth, and high school dual enrollment — because I believe education should be accessible and transformative for everyone.
Outside of class, I’m a postdoctoral therapist at a private practice in San Diego, where I work with children, teens, adults, and families. I’m also a proud mom of two sons pursuing their own career and academic dreams.
Whether you’re figuring out your major, your goals, or just how to manage college life, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to make your college journey meaningful — and maybe even a little fun.
