Open House will feature fun family events for parents and children of all ages to enjoy! Activities include:

9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.  Children’s Activities Children will have various fun activities available to them such as arts and crafts, balloon art, games, and more. Grand Lawn
9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. Volleyball Competition Women’s volleyball will challenge visitors to score an ace against a Coyote for a tee-shirt. Serve an ace or our Lady Coyote volleyball player fails to return the serve and you WIN! Gym/Building D
9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Free-throw Competition Men’s and Women’s basketball will also have an interactive activity. Simply shoot free-throw on your only attempt and WIN! Gym/Building D
10:50 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. Bilingual Story Time Children will gather in the library to hear some of their favorite stories from Dr. Seuss! Story time will be offered in Arabic and Spanish. Library
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Face Painting Dr. Seuss will also be painting faces with fun colors and designs. Library

10:50a.m. - 11:20a.m. Dabka Folk Dance G-Building Courtyard

The purpose of Dabka originated from repairing the roof of one’s house. When the weather would change, the

mud would crack. Family members and community would come and help patch it by forming a line, joining hands and stomping the mud into place. This tradition was passed through generations as a reminder of the importance of family, community, and tradition.

Fouad Sawa, is performing the “Arabic Traditional Music” with

Ensemble includes Arabic instruments, Oud, Qanun, Nay, and Tabla.
