  • Foundation for Women Warriors - Our Childcare Assistance program is a ground-breaking and unique approach to ensuring that women veteran mothers are able to maintain employment and/or persist towards their degree. We provide childcare stipends to student or working mothers of children ages 0-5 that allows them to place their children in trusted and enriching care with any licensed childcare provider of her choosing.


  • Babies on the Homefront Babies on the Homefront provides military and veteran parents ideas for enhancing everyday moments with their baby or toddler. Parents will find lots of material to add to their toolbox of strategies.

   This link is to the American Psychological Association web site that addresses crisis issues for children of veterans. You will have to scroll down the page to find the information, but it is an excellent source of ideas and help.
  • Free New Parenting App This free app is for parents with infants through elementary age children that help to choose fun activities to promote early learning, take photos and share through social media.  Helpful for any family, but especially helpful for deployed parents!

    Healing Household 6 is unique in that their focus is the partners/children who are victims of domestic violence.  They offer mental health, intervention support and resources.  Review their programs for specific information and how to obtain their support.
