Commencement Ceremony
- Wednesday, June 3, 2026 | 5:30pm | Communication Arts (B-Building) Courtyard
- Check-in with a photo ID at 4:00 pm in the Student Center, 2nd Floor, I-207 (graduates
will proceed down to the ceremony after check-in is complete)
- To walk in this year’s commencement ceremony, please submit your *graduation application
and RSVP.

- Diplomas for Spring 2026 graduates are mailed in early July to the student’s mailing address indicated on the graduation application. To request a change in mailing address email Tenille.Venard@gcccd.edu by June 1, 2026 (include your full name, student ID and complete mailing address).

Photo Day
- Friday, May 29, 2026 | 4 to 6:00 pm | Student Services (G-Building) Courtyard and
B Building Quad Area
- Let’s start celebrating! Bring your family and friends, and your cap and gown to take
candid photos around campus, in front of fun grad backdrops, and be prepared for a
few photo drop-ins from Kudapaw, Cuyamaca’s Coyote mascot. Professional photography
will also be available for purchase.
Transfer Achievement Celebration
- Monday, May 18, 2026 | 5:30 to 7:00 pm | Samuel M. Ciccati Performing Arts Center
(G-Building)
- Join us as we celebrate the achievements of students transferring to four‑year universities!
Students who attend this event will receive a certificate and a white cord to wear
at graduation, recognizing them as transfer students. RSVP is required.
- To participate in this event, students must have applied to a four‑year university
and received an acceptance for the Fall 2026 semester.

Latine Graduation Celebration

- Join us to celebrate the achievements of our Latine graduates! Latine graduates who
RSVP will receive a certificate and graduation stole, and we’ll celebrate with food
and music. Bring your cap & gown for photos! All who RSVP are welcome to attend.

- Join us to honor the achievements of our LGBTQIA+ graduates! Pride Scholar graduates
who RSVP will receive a certificate and graduation stole, and we’ll celebrate with
free food, photos, and cap decorating, so bring your cap & gown! All who RSVP are
