President
Cuyamaca College

After serving as interim president for a year, Dr. Jessica Robinson was appointed as Cuyamaca College’s seventh president in 2023—making history as the first alumna to lead the college.

A proud first-generation community college student, Dr. Robinson’s journey began at Cuyamaca College, where her educational experience inspired a lifelong commitment to student success and equity in higher education. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, a Master of Social Work Administration, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, all from San Diego State University (SDSU).

As president, Dr. Robinson is honored and thrilled to lead the very college that transformed her own life—committed to ensuring that every student has the same opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
