I worked as the Graphic Designer for Cuyamaca College after graduating and learned so much before the COVID budget freeze. I freelanced and eventually landed a position at Specialty Produce where my official title is Marketing Admin but my job duties and pay reflect more closely to a cross between that and a Creative Producer and I am a part of a select team we call Fruit Hunters.

As a Fruit Hunter and Creative Producer at Specialty Produce, I travel the world photographing and researching rare produce like durians on the streets of Singapore, to climbing mountains in Nagaland, to bustling Tokyo and beyond to Germany, England, Italy and Greece.

I specialize in graphic design, photography, and marketing strategy. I design everything from truck wraps, merch, Jumbotrons and retail signage to social campaigns and video content.

I’m currently leveling up in videography, UX, and Spanish — always learning, always looking for what’s next. Let’s talk if you’re passionate about your craft, or if you’ve got a fruit I should know about.

The classes gave me a solid foundation in design and software basics when I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I was able to use the words and the knowledge from the incredible faculty team to hone my skills and push me in the right direction. My first big break was getting a Graphic Designer job at Cuyamaca College after graduating. If not for the likes of Tom Bugzavich and Ian Cummings, I would have never had the skill set needed to get the job I have that allowed me to travel the world.
