Welcoming Our New Digital Illustration Instructor, Tony Washington.
We are thrilled to announce that the acclaimed illustrator, Tony Washington has joined our Graphic Design program as our newest instructor. Tony’s distinguished career as an illustrator brings a wealth of real-world industry experience directly into our classrooms. Tony is currently working on an upcoming 2026 game for Sony as a Senior Illustrator.
Tony is a San Diego based Concept Artist, Illustrator and Music Producer with 30 years of professional experience in Comics, Video Games and Animated Feature Films. He is a 2024 Eisner Award Winner and an Adobe Community Expert Member.

He's also the lead illustrator for the ACLU of San Diego/Imperial Counties and a Senior Illustrator / Concept Artist for various other entertainment-based studios. Over the past 30 years, Tony has been very fortunate to have to worked on many multiple award-winning projects including World Of Warcraft Ashbringer with the highest selling trade paper back in Wildstorm's history earning his first New York Times Best Selling book. The number 1 Box Office hit TMNT and recently the highest honors at San Diego's Del Mar Fair Donor Award for his art for the ACLU's Constitution Day Art and first place win for his poster work from The Crow movie franchise.
