The primary purpose of EOPS is to extend the opportunity for community college education to all who may benefit regardless of economic, social and educational status. This opportunity includes helping students achieve their educational goals and objectives by obtaining career technical skills and certificates, associate degrees, and transferring to four-year institutions. The services below are an intensive supplement to those offered by Cuyamaca College.

  • Academic Counseling
  • Personal Counseling
  • Career and Transfer Counseling
  • Book Vouchers (as funding permits)
  • Transfer fee waivers
  • Priority Registration
  • Peer Advising/Mentoring
  • Tutoring
  • Orientations for college readiness

Check the Eligibility page to see if you may apply to the EOPS program.

Limited Availability

State funding dictates the availability of EOPS services, therefore not all services are available
at all times.

New Student Orientation

All students admitted to EOPS MUST participate in an EOPS Orientation to complete the process. Please call or stop by the office before taking the orientation.
