Maximize your Aid
Not all courses that students enroll in are eligible for financial aid payment. Only courses that apply toward your academic goal or major will be eligible for financial aid payment. (Please note that the Grossmont Cuyamaca College Promise Grant or CCPG will waive tuition costs for all courses as long as the student has financial need).
The U.S. Department of Education requires that students who wish to receive financial aid funds must be enrolled in an eligible program that leads to a degree or certificate. Only courses that count toward a student’s goal or major are eligible for financial aid disbursement. Students must meet with an academic counselor to complete a Comprehensive Education Plan and ensure that they are only taking courses that are required for their goal or major.
