Students currently enrolled at Grossmont College who have completed a minimum number of units may apply for campus based scholarships. The awards are competitive and are based on the applicant's statement and academic record.
During the application period, you can apply by clicking here to access our scholarship system. From there, all applicants will need to create a Blackbaud ID account using your email address associated with Self-Service.
Upon signing up, you will receive a confirmation email to ensure your identity. Check your spam folder for this email. Once you have confirmed your account, you can access your scholarship application. The system will prompt you through the process.
Availability of campus-based scholarships is dependent on current funding, but we generally offer 300-330 scholarships each semester.
Awards for campus-based scholarships range from $100-$5,000.
Many scholarships do not require financial need. If the scholarship criteria states financial need as a requirement, the student must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Receiving a scholarship may have an impact on your financial aid package. Please check with your financial aid advisor for specific details.
Scholarship funds are disbursed through BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. The Financial Aid web portal can be accessed through Self-Service.
Cuyamaca College Financial Aid department works with the Foundation for Grossmont & Cuyamaca Colleges to provide around 350 scholarship opportunities and nearly $300,000 to our students each semester. Thanks to generous donors in the community and their commitment to invest in students, these competitive scholarships are awarded each semester. Students can complete one online application and are matched to qualified scholarship opportunities automatically.
Please visit the foundation website for more information including dates, deadlines, and link to apply.
When applying to scholarships outside of Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District, please be wary of possible scams. Applications should never have to provide a social security number or pay an application fee to submit a scholarship application.
