Each classroom is staffed by one contracted teacher, who acts as the supervising teacher, and an aide or child development students, who act as assistant teachers. Assistant teachers have a child development permit or have completed a minimum of 12 units in child development. Our supervising teachers must have a child development permit that is issued through the California State Teacher Credentialing office. The education, training, and experience of center staff are prime factors contributing to overall program quality. The adult/child ratio is one to four for our toddler program and one to eight for our preschool program.
