The Veterans Readiness and Employment is an incredible educational program designed to assist or supplement Veterans educational needs. VR&E benefits are not an entitlement based solely on time in service and discharge but more of a training and rehabilitation program. It has been successfully utilized by Veterans Center staff members in the pursuit of Bachelors and Masters Degrees following their post 9/11 allotment. There are a lot of benefits for Veterans and their families that are not directly affiliated with VA. These include Calvet, Local Non-Profits and Veterans organizations such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
